September 2022 - Pakistan Relief with ShelterBox

Severe monsoon flooding in Pakistan has left thousands of people with nowhere to live. The disaster has affected more than 33 million people.

The sheer scale of the flooding is disastrous – people’s homes have sunk in flood water or been swept away. Around 1 million houses have been damaged or destroyed, leaving behind millions in need of urgent shelter.

A ShelterBox response team is in Pakistan working to support thousands of people left with nowhere to live.

ShelterBox are providing shelter, essential items and technical assistance to help some of the world’s most vulnerable people recover and rebuild their homes after disaster. ShelterBox listen and adapt their support to the needs of each community, working together with those affected by disaster, alongside their supporters and partners.

Committing to the highest ethical standards, ShelterBox strive to be honest, straightforward and fair. Hold themselves accountable for doing the very best that can be done for those affected by disaster and for each other.

Every family deserves a place to call home after disaster.

Working with disaster-affected communities to provide the emergency shelter, essential items and training needed to support families in the long process of rebuilding their lives.
